Well whats wrong with the TB. I thought it gave a little extra HP. My concern is the suspension. With the drop I have now, I can't really race my truck. I try to go over 90 MPH and I hear a noise in the back like the tires rubbing the wheelwell, but i am not sure. I have the stock R/T rims with FALKEN 255/45/17's. And I havent bottemed out, but I am about 2 to 3 inches from the ground in the front. I figure I should go for looks, so I am gonna get clears in the back, shave the handles(already did the back) and then get rims....I also need some ideas for my center console. I wanna customize it so i can fit the 2 10's and 2 12's I have. Right now i just have 2 10's in the back seat. I figure something custom from the back window all the way to the front.. but just the width of the center console..(puzzled???) yeah me too. Thats why i need help.. I just wanted to be able to fit 2 people in the back with the custom box between them.. Any help would be awesome... Thanks alot

the TB SPACER dosent do anything...it has been dyno proven. any gains you got are all in your head (not a flame, just a fact)

as far as the noise, how did you lower it? could be the u-joins going out because of the wrong pinion angle.

i see what you are saying about the box. i dont see how 2 people over the age of 7 will fit back there with a box between them. just take the back seat out and put 4 10's there, or if you REALLY want to save the seat, get the mtx thunderbox. it goes under the seat, and sounds good.

why did you go 6/6? why not 6/8 to make it sit level?

Well I got the R/T hooked up. It's 6 all around I dont know why but in the front its shocks, and in the back they did something with the leaf springs and put them undle the axle.. and there are only 3 so i think they took a couple out. It sits lower in the bACK but looks like only an inch. I was told I could put the leaf springs back in but it would $$cost$$ With the mtx thunderbox, how much is that and are they subs or what. Right now under the seats I have two amps. 1 controling the subs and the other controlling the highs, mids, t.v. and DVD player. I should be getting an updated pic soon so you could see what i mean. Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it.

the 2WD dakotas come with the axle on top of the spring like you have.

the mtx thunderform is a molded box that holds 2 10" subs you can get just the box, the box with 2 10" mtx subs, or the box, subs and amp. it fits under the rear seat, and you cant see it. and it sound pretty good (not like 4 12's or anything, but verry good for 2 10's!)

I have an indash, 5" alpine and it is mounted right under the ac vents above the controls. The only bad part about that location is that when the t.v. is out it blocks the air flow from the center vents. But there are many other places to mount the t.v., like above the vents on the dash. or if you get it custom built over the pasanger side airbag. you could probably fit a 7"+ t.v. there. About the rims and tires. I'm looking at $850 to $900 w/ or w/out the 4 extra tires. But I have to get the new rims first before I sell these so it should be about a month..

Oh and KOTA..... about those speakers..I would think there wouldnt be any airflow to them so they would get extremely hot. My amps are under the seat now and get hot b/c no air gets to them..Is that bad??
Thanks guys..
Mike

Hey Eric I have a question.. I told you I heard that noise right. I had someone drive along next to me and they said the tires werent rubbing. I asked a friend if he knew and he said it might be the exhaust. what do you think? I mean it cant be the tires because theres no tread missing. Have any ideas..? Thanks for your input... later

im sure hot heat for amps and speekers is not the best thing for them, but i have not heard anyone complain about the mtx box.

it could be a number of things that is making the noise. is the inside sidewall rubbing the bed? it could be the gears, or u-joints also.
