I am assumning that you don't have an R/T. If you want a cheap lowering kit, order some 2" coil springs and 3" lowering blocks from Sport Truck Specialites...they sell Western Chassis stuff. If you have a V8, I would recommend shackles/hangers for the rear. Good luck.

what are shackels hangers. to install them do you have to grind the old hanger brackes off?

blocks will make for a stiffer ride, shackles/
hangers will just "hang" the leaf springs
higher, lowering the truck, but keeping the
stock ride.

Yes you do have to drill out the stock rivets,
and yes it is hard work, but it's definately worth
it.

3" spring is the most "cost effective", and
allow for better handling. a 3" control arm
would be slightly more expensive ($240.00+)
but keep the stock ride, I opted for the arms
and shackle hangers, cause I value comfort
over neck breaking speed through s-curves
