How do you know when the tie rods are shot? I get a light clunk once and a while when turning and a small steering wheel response, is this characteristic of the tie rod? I have a 3/5 on a 97 RC with 95K. The only thing not replaced on the suspension is the upper control arm and upper ball joint.

I had that same *clunk* noise when my stock
suspension was on, I believe it was the ball
joints, as soon as I switched to lower control
arms, the problem stopped. It only happened
with the wheel fully turned.
