I'm wanting to bag my 2001 dakota cc. Here's the tricky part...I have a 408 stroker with over 500hp. The trucks pretty much just a show truck but i still would like to race it every now and then and i don't want to bust any bags. I was wondering if a 4 point would be enough strenght for me. Please help me out.

probably not,im am currently bagging my 94 kota with just a little more that stock power, and no other changes, i did a reverse 4 link(triangulated, and the axel wrap ripped the bars off. too much torque for a basic link, let alone 500 horses. my suggestion is talk to kit makers and tell them what you have. im now boxing my frame from cab back and running a parrallel link with a custom 5th and 6th link.

yah its alot of work, and it sucks when its custom because unless your a genius or youve done it befor you cant really tell how its gonna turn out, and its really hard to make everything come out the way you plan when you have to change little things every other day. sucks, but its worth it in the end when you do a good job.
