I was just wondering if anyone happens to know the springs rates and overall spring height from a stock club cab R/T? I have a V-6 quad and I'm wondering if a stock R/T suspension would give me any lowering or improvement of ride?? Has anybody done this?? Thanks in advance.

The R/T springs will not be a good choice for you.. since the V6 is a lot lighter that the 360 the nose of your truck will be kinda higher than what you have now due to the spring tension.. the sway bars might be a good swap...

Even with the extra weight of it being a quad cab?? I'm thinkin that the 2 extra doors and all the extra metal might make up that difference. Do you have exact weights of each different motor alone or are you guessing? I'm hoping someone has tried this swap before and can tell me if it worked.

Ummm.... its no guess that a 6 cylinder block is lighter that a 8. You didnt say in your first post that you have a quadcab... even then the extra weight from the quad part of the cab rests in the center of the frame... not in the nose. im my old truck i swaped the v6 for a v8 and it caused it to sag bad in the nose so I figure it will raise yours.. but hey .. its your truck .. do what you want
