 Subject: 5" Rear Lowering Kit?

I don't want to sound like a dummy, but here it goes. I bought a 5" lowering spring brackets and shackles for my 97 Daks. I see where the bracket will replace the front stock one but I'm not sure about the shackles.(common sense tells me it will replace the stock rear shackles)They are longer than the stock one's and doesn't seem that they would fit right. Is there more to the kit than I have? I bought it used from a guy from this forum. I know you guys can shine some light on this. Thanks for any reply to staighten me out.

i dont know what spring brackets are but the shackles
should do it..the shackles are supposed to replace the
stock ones on your leaf springs,if they are longer i think
thats what makes it lower? i dunno..just my opinion.i
have the 2/4 drop so im not sure if its different then the
3/5 im guessing you have
