hey all,
I need some help on finding some sites as well as finding the right products for my dakota. to start things off I own a 95 V6 SLT Dakota ex. cab. i would like to lower it 3 or 4 inches. I know that you can use springs on the front and blocks on the back but i was told that it isn't a very smooth ride. can you guys/gals please help me find the parts that will give me a smooth ride, lower the truck 3-4 inches, and not cost a whole lot. I am also interested in kits but they are kinda pricey. so if you could give me some pointers on what the best mixture of parts would be that would be great. all your help is appreciated. i am looking for sites to buy from and parts to get.

thanks,
matt

Matt, I'd take a look at Western Chassis. They have a 2/4 for your GENII Dakota for around $360 or a 4/6 for $580, but that is with out shocks. I'm running a 2" spindle on my '92 that I've had on the truck for 8 years, and have never had one bit of problems.
