Ok I'm looking for some advise here. I hate the way my 1999 Dakota Sport(318 5speed, reg cab, reg box, rear wheel drive, stock optional 15 X 8" wheels with 275/50 15 cheapo tires) handles. I'd like to lower it for better handling(well I guess for looks too a little), but not ruin it. I still need it to be able to tow my 18' dual axle trailer with a car on it. What is the best setup for me to get: blocks, shackles, spindles, coils ect. Just want to know the best way to do this and what are the right parts to do it with.

Yeah I already have Air ride bags in the back for when I tow. I'll have to reposition the top brackets with anything but blocks as it will raise the leaf springs. I just want to know how low I should drop it to get better handling and still be able to tow. I'm not trying to slam it or anything like that.

Yep that would be me. I'm like an expert on those 4 cylinder cars, but this truck stuff I've never messed with, so I'm just looking for some advise from someone who has had good success with their Dak. Maybe someone who has auto-X, or track experience with there Dak. Chris M, do I know you from somewhere, or have you just heard about me from SDAC guys or Neon guys, or locals.

Oh yeah. Well this year if luck isn't against me again I'll have the Neon at 2K5 in Detroit. In fact I'm helping out to get the road course event set up for 2K5. I just have to finish the Dak and get it out of the garage so I can park the R/T(sucks big time driving it in this weather up here in Michigan). Do you have a Dak too Chris. I found another website that also has a lot of good stuff, and people for the Daks

Any way If you get up to Detroit for Neons 2K5 look for me in a noiser White Dak and a nasty turbo 2.4 SOHC White Neon coupe.

I am planning on totally overhauling the factory suspension on my 1999 R/T Dakota. I also would like to find a good supercharger ro place under the hood I would like to know if they are even available. Anybody know for sure???
