I Goofed!! I put a set of P245/65R17's on my truck. Now they stick out an inch. I will be adding stock flares to cover this. Does any one feel that I can still drop this thing and how much and still be safe. Thanks drschuerger@comcast.net

Stock dakota outside tire diameter (235/75-15) is around 29 inches. The outside diameter of your new tires is 29.5 so you added about half an inch. You can probably go down 2 maybe 3 inches in the front. If it were my truck I wouldn't go for 4"
