Subject: 2-3 Drop on 20's? YES or NO?

Message:
Alright here is the deal . . .
I have posted a few questions on here and this is the most expensive question I have posted. I have 20" R/T's w/275-45-20 and I am looking to get the whole kit and kaboodle from Hotchkis(2"coils,3"leafs,Sways,Shocks). I know KotaonDubs has 20's and his is down 4/6 but I think he did a bedload of mods and he just doesnt want to tell me so he can laugh when my next post says my tires won't spin. ~LOL~ I need some advice before this coming weekend 4/12-4-14 cause that is when I am gonna do my ordering. I have thought about just dropping it 1/2 like the R/T and add a block in the back to make it 1/3 but if his is 4/6 then why can't I do a 2/3? It seems to me that I will be ok but its an aweful expensive decision to make on my own. I need help and input and experiences and money if anyone has it. Just playin . . . unless someone really wants to give me some!!! Anyways PLEASE HELP ME or save me whatever you want to call it. Thanks for all the replys in the past and I hope this post will be my savior!! Thanks Guys(Gals?)

k, ive also got 20s.. but they are 20x10in wheels and they stick out about an inch and a half on each side of the truck on my slt quadcab.. so i cant get them to tuck if i drop really low.. will a 3/5 be too much? should i go 2/3 or 2/4? thanks.

2/3 looks the best on dubs man, and if u do try and tuck 20's thats tooa damn insane spend all the money and then tuck them away and not show them off. i had a 3/5 drop w/mine. too low rubbed pretty frequently. so i went up to a 2/3. and the look sall around improved

What kind of tires are you running on your 20x10? Thinking about going with 295/40/20 on my 20x10's. Any rubbing??

Hey dude i got a 2 -3 drop on my dakota i have the stock 16's with new tires 255 65's they rub when i get a hard bump i think its because i dont have the stillen shocks i got the nito drop ones. the 2-3 will be easy to put into your truck you can do it your self all you have to watch out for it the front ball joints and the tire wells may need banged out if you have the side flaires.

youll find that kotaondub's tires arent 30" tall (how tall your 275/45/20's are), or even close to that. i believe he is running 245/40/20's, which would still take some modding to keep from rubbing up front with a 4" drop...
