Subject: Rear leaf de-arching

I was talking with the guy who owns a spring shop and he was telling me that he can de-arch my leafs. he said that with the rear bushing pressed out he could cut a short piece off and roll it back then the over-all length would be the same.
Has anyone doen this or heard of anyone doing this I'm curios as to how much needs to be taken off to achieve roughly a 3 inch drop in the rear.

Or if some one with a 3 inch rear drop could measure the total spring length including eyelets then I might be ablt to figure out how much to take off.

Thanks

or you could buy 3 inch drop blocks and just install them so if you want to go back to stock for any reason you can just remove them no problem no sweat instead of having to buy new leaf springs if you want it back up.

or instead of ruining the stock leaf springs buy lowering leaf spring that dont have so much arch then you can still go back to stock

It was just a thought. Drop blocks make sence, when I do it thats most likely the way I'll go.
Thanks
