You get a forklift pick the body of the truck up off the frame and just push it off the forklift until you hear a big crunch and it hits the ground thats a body drop!

what it sounds like. the body is lowered around the frame giving it a lower stance. the floor is cut out and raised up to get the body around the frame...

The body of the truck is taken off the frame and as sections cut out of it so that the frame can set up higher in the cab. The same is done to the bed. This is how you see trucks in magazines were the door is less then an inch of the ground. By doing this you totaly ruin the truck. It is no longer worth anything. If you are interested in doing this be prepared to spend a lot of money, and plan on owning the truck for life. Because it won't be worth anything when you are done.

jason, its not worth anything as a normal truck but its worth a good bit to someone who wants one, i sold my bagged and bodydroped s10 about 3 months ago and made a killing, i did all the work myself. theres two types of bodydrop's , the normal, cut the body off and move it lower on the frame, witch will take away head room cause the cabs comes down and the floor comes up. and a "stock floor" witch more or less use's a new frame or modify's the frame to not be any lower then the body.
