 Subject: air shocks..HELP!

is it possibly to lower the front and rear a few inches with air shocks...i know you can lift it that way, but what if you did it in reverse?
measure what size shocks you and buy ones that extend to the length you need,extend them and install them and run a compressor to them, then compressed the shocks, say 2 inches once installed.. would that drop the truck 2 inchs?
this possible?

no...not with the stock springs...it dont work that way; besides, just get some 2" drop springs and it'll probably be cheaper anyway
