Subject: SUSPENSION MAX-SPRING TECH?-anyone heard
IP: Logged

Message:
I see a suspension max/spring tech kit on ebay for sale when I plug in "Dakota lowering kit"

It comes with front springs and a rear shackle and mount kit...

Does anyone know anything about these kits??

I want 2 inch front and 3/4 inch rear drop...

I cannot afford an $800 Hotchkis kit (although I wish I could), but I am buying KONI adjustable SHOCKS for it because I am a dealer and get them at cost...

My stock front shocks are already wore out at 30,000 miles!!!

I just replaced my stock Goodyear 255/65/16's for some of the Kumho Ecstas of the same size...
I love these Kumhos....

What do you guys think???

Thanks,
Ryan

i dont know about that brand, but i wouldnt worry about droping the back 3/4 inches. If u drop the front 2 inches, then u will get a nice even look, because dakotas are 2 inches higher in he back.

well, if your a dealer of the koni's, i dont think they make shocks for a dakota? even if you do, with 2" of drop, the ones for stock height wouldntlast too long.

but! i used shocks meant for a stock xtreme, and in the rear meant for a caravan (i believe koni makes both these). they match up really close to a 3/4 drop.

I just bought one of those Sping Tech kits of ebay from Suspension Max. Don't have it installed yet. Parts look like good quality. Plan to get it on over Xmas holidays if I get enough time off work.
