Subject: Laying frame up front....
IP: Logged

Message:
I'm getting ready to install air bags up front on my 98 dakota. The back bags are going in as we speak. Laying frame in the rear isn't a problem. But i have no idea how to lay frame in the front. I'm running 255/50/r20's, so exactly what do i need to do? Exactly what will i need to relocate in the engine bay? Any and all hints would be really helpful. pics too. Thanx.

i think u have it mixed up. Laying the frame in the front is easier than the rear, because u have to do some major tubbing in the back.

I Didnt have to reloacate or cut anything but im running a much smaller tire than you. Id say look where your tires hit when you lay out and cut out only what you have too. Whatever is ontop of where you are cutting your gonna have to reloacate. You can take the entire fender out but i dont think thats nessesary. But i havent done it either. Just take a look where it hits, measure and what not. Then go at it. Just make sure you record how everyting goes back together if you take stuff apart.... Late
