Subject: Sprintech or Belltech?

Message:
I just bought some tires for my 20s and want to sell my factory wheels and tires and get a drop kit. My brother dropped his ram with belltech and I know they are a good brand, but I found some Springtech's for sale on ebay for only $275 with shocks. The only thing is I have never heard of Springtech, and I've been into the sport truck thing for a few years. I'd heard of Belltech and know they're good. The only thing that really bothers me is I've never heard of them. So if anyone has any information about their suspension products, please email me or leave a reply on here. Any relavent information is good information. Thanks

A buddy of mine just dropped his 98 Ranger using a Springtech kit that he bought off of ebay. We got his coils on fine, and they ride nicely. But when we tried to get the shackle/hanger kit on, it just kicked our asses. Seemed like it didn't fit right. Now, I'm not sure if it was Springtech, or Ford. But we couldn't do anything to get the damn leaf spring to attach to the hanger. So he coughed up $300 to have a shop install them. Fine by me. I didn't want to struggle for 5 hours again to get ZERO progress.

But who knows if that was Springtech, Ford, or out lack of tools/expertise/beer.

But as for the ride in the rear, I haven't talked to him yet. He just got it back today.
