What are the best drop shocks out there to buy? I have 2 inch control arms on the front and springs on the back! Right now I have doestch techs on it but the bump steer is friggen insane!

Bilsteins are like 70 bucks a peice , Are these worth the money and will they reduce the bumpsteer any?

I thought I could deal with it but it gets to the point to where I go around a curve and there are some bumps that I have to actually grab the wheel with two hands so it doesnt go out of control! Thanks

hmm the bilstiens are closer to 80 bucks a peice. ive also heard nothing but good about the edlebrock IAT's or whatever they are called.

if do get rid of the doestch tech's, let me know, im trying to do an unbiased comparision on the shocks available. ive heard they are pretty damn stiff!

well, ive ridden in one bilstien equipped truck and one edlebrock equipped truck. the bilsteins are made for performance handling, as much as anyone would like to say, the ride is stiff (DUH) making it harsh(er). this is the ride i like :)
the edlebrocks road more like a new caddilac, nice a firm around corners (not nearly as firm as the bilstiens) but yet soft on the bumps.

if it were me, i would go with the bilsteins, just cuz i love the stiff ride, and i would readily trade in a smooth daily ride. it sounds to me like you sick of the rough ride, so edlebeocks prolly are the way to go.

well its not that I dont like the rough ride its the dang bumpsteer thats pi$$ing me off. Front end feels like it bounces all over when I'm tryin to turn and hittin little bumps at the same time. Kinda like the wheels aren't even touching the ground thats how easy the wheel turns.
