Tell me you're kidding! If you're not, DO NOT ever heat springs to lower a truck/car. You'll MOST definately comprimise handling and suspension travel. But then again, maybe you like a "ill handling" ride. Pay for aftermarket springs. They're designed for it. You won't regret it.

Absolutely Grant, but I do not have any yet. I've only had them on about a month. I've been meaning to get some. I will make a hard attempt this weekend and post them back here.

Thanks man. I got some rt wheels recently, and i want to see how they look with the 275/40 series on the truck. You have a drop on your truck too, dont you?

I'm looking at getting the pictures today and I'll post then tonight or tomorrow.

I have a 2" front drop and 3.5" rear drop

I had a 2/~4+, but I didn't like it.

The 275/40/17 seemed kinda small on there at first, but I had been running 29" tall tires previously. 275/40/17s are 15.6" tall BTW. This will give you a noticable change in your gearing.

lol, you mean 25.6", its not like we are rolling on gold spoke d's. so with a 2/3 how did it look? ive got a 2/3 on my r/t which would be about 3/4... i plan on going a lil lower to fill the fender well.

Is your 2/3 done with new springs or blocks and such. Cause it might not be a 3/4. My Hotchkis drop for an R/T is only a 1/2 in reality.

Yeah, I meant 25.6, heheh.

I like the 2/3 drop. The tires look pretty good with it. specially because how wide they are. Looks great from the rear. When you are outside and see the wheels turn and there is still wheel tucked inside the well at a full clock, it's kinda neat. I highly reccomend the Dunlop 9000s. I wanted to go with the SO-3s, but at this size they are expensive as hell.

I was going to get the pictures this morning, but my dad's digital is not here. Neither is anyone else though ... hrmm.

its a 2/3, i have regular dakota 3" drop coils and shackles in the rear. no hotckis here, wouldnt have been low enough for me. i actually have already bought tires, kuhmo supra 712's. i just got a set of chrome rims (r/t style), so i figured now was the time for size change. when you get pics, shoot me a email at kamezzle13@usa.com, i should have my tires mounted by tommarrow.

Nice, the rims I just got were sold to me because a guy with an R/T south of me decided to go to the chrome ones. The chrome looks real sharp.

I have heard mixed things about the 712s, let me know how you like them.

I just installed the Kumho 712's on my R/T rims
nice tire, only about 1000 miles so far so no treadwear news
only think i don't like about them is the sidewalls
they're hard to dress with all the designs in them.
we'll see how long they last
they're 255/50/17 but they look taller than 50 series for some reason.
