I just lowered my truck 2/3 , but the rear sits up more than I care for so Im going 4" in the rear. Does anyone have tranny,driveshaft or rear end problems associated with dropping a 4" block in the rear?
Im getting the pinion angle corrected ones.

just buy the hanger shackle kit. i have that and 2 inch blocks and i have no problems.

imo 2/4 looks funny... looks like you got a load in the back.. body lines confuse the eyes.. id go 3/4 if it was me.
if i dropped an r/t 2/3.. would that mean youd have to drop a reg dakota 3/4 for the same look?

Well I got my 4" block/u-bolt kit in the mail and the stupid u-bolts are too short and too narrow.
I see this as a bad sign of things to come. I guess its off to the fabrication shop to get some longer ones made.

installed today and IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really looks great with the Stampede package. The stock wheels and tires look great as well. This was the best move I have made with my truck. It lowered it 2/3 which is perfect in my opinion. The guy who installed it for me said that it should really handle with the sway bars that came with the kit. Again, it was a little expensive, but the looks and handling are well worth it.

I love mine , but just wasnt comfortable with the rear still being a touch higher...guess I cant leave well enough alone..lol
Go to my site and see my photo page and youll see mine dropped now.Hopefully I can get the 4" blocks on today after it stops raining.
Once I finish mine I will post a few pics of the extra inch in the rear.

Yours looks GREAT!!! As soon as I can get some pictures of mine I will send them to you. So far, it doesn't look like many people have gotten a Dak with the Stampede Package. As far as I have seen, I have the only one in my area (Jackson, Mississippi).
