I have a 02' RC R/T, im looking at going either a 2"/3" or maybe a 3"/31/2" to 4" drop. im looking to keep the factory rake to maybe a little less rake than that. Ive read that Hotchkis is the best way to go, but what about the stock control arms? is there any better than these? im performance oriented and would like to know the best way to drop my truck for this style.

I have a '99 RC R/T and im getting mine with the same thing in mind from all i've read here i decided to go with 2" DJM control arms and keep the R/T coil and hotchkis rear leaf = 3" ,most people say bilstiens (spelling is bad) are best but im getting adjustable shocks for drag racing. but when i lost "2 from going to a 40 series 17" tire im thinking my truck is gona be really low

Shane, a 275/40/17 will only "lower" your vehicle about an inch from the stock RSAs. When I mean lower, I mean like you have a flat tire, your truck wont look that much lower. It might actually do the opposite because of the increased space between the fenders and tires.

your correct i had 245/45/17 on the front before i got my 275/40/17 nitto's in the rear, and it made the front look lower, the gap makes the wheel look really small, hotchkis kit is next but im considering 20's soon.
