I know a lot of you have been asking about the company that sells Spring Tech Springs on e-bay for a fair price. This is how they treated me. I ordered a lowering kit from them. 3" drop coils in the front and a pair of 4" blocks for the rear. I got them in 2 days so the shipping was very quick but it did cost me $30 to ship it within the state. The front springs are fine so far. Went in quick and did lower the truck about 2.5 inches. I hope they do hold up. Only time will tell. My installer called me telling me that the U-Bolts for the rear blocks did not fit. I spent half a day and made serveral phone calls then finally drove 60 miles to find some U-Bolts that fit. Cost me $40 for all 4. My installer then finished the job. Truck came out great but the 4" in the rear was a little much. So I want to go with a 3" block instead. I e-mailed Spring Tech explaining my story and told them both about the U-Bolts not fitting and me wanting a pair of 3" blocks. What I asked for is a pair of 3" blocks in exchange for me spending $40 for U-Bolts I had to buy. I even offered to send back the 4" blocks once I changed them out. I though I was being very reasonable. After a day and a second e-mail to them asking for the same thing they came back with once I send back the 4" blocks the will send me the 3" blocks. That's all they said. No sorry about the U-Bolts not fitting, no OK, we'll do what makes you, the customer happy, no nothing. So then I asked that if they wanted me to put my truck on a hoist so that I can take off the old blocks then wait for the new ones to come back in the mail? They came back with that the U-Bolts have always worked before. I sent them a picture of the U-Bolt that came with the truck and theirs. Theirs was visibly smaller. After I sent them the picture they told me that if I would have bent the U-Bolt I could have made it fit because that what everyone else did. I gave them one last chance to make it right and they said to buy the 3" blocks then return the 4" blocks and they would give me a refund for the 3" blocks but not for shipping. I that point I just gave up as I had a pretty good idea on what type of person I was dealing with. I'm not telling anybody not to order from them. Just wanted to tell you my story and experence with them. If anybody wants to see their e-mails to me, I will forward it to you.

Again, the coils I did get from them seem fine. All I'm saying if you do have a problem with them, don't expect them to do you any favors even if it is not your fault. If I have had a problem with either Bell Tech, Hotchkis, DJM, Ground Force, etc. I know they would have taken care of me.

i ordered 3 inch springs from them and there are very good for the $ i paid. anyone who would shove a 4 inch block in a truck is being a retard in the first place. ask before you anyone will tell you a dodge rt sits level dropped 2/2 or 2/3 not 2/4. and the ride quality of a 4 inch block is just terrible. you did it the cheapest way possible and now got screwed. not by the company but by yourself.

everyone- springtech (springs) are very good for the $. get them

Chris, What difference does it make what size block it put in it anyways? The fact is that the U-Bolt they sent me was not wide enough. It would not have been wide enough if I put a 4" block or a 1" block.

Chris,
What kind of Dak you got? I was also going to go with the 3" coils. I have a 99 reg cab v6. Also do you have to change the shocks with a 3" front drop?

rayr/t...it makes a hella difference on what size block u put in!!!!! do you know the concept of a lowering block??? it sits in between the axle and leaf spring and if you put a 4 in block in there you have one bowed a$$ leaf spring...yea it pushes the axle up 4 inches in turn lowering the rear 4 in but you will and trust me here have a fu**ed up ride!!!! so yes it makes a difference
