 Subject: Severe Drop in MPG! Help!

Okay here is my problem, im hoping you people could help me out. Recently in the past month or so I have noticed that my truck has gone from about 15 to 16 mpg to about 10 mpg. I've cleaned my K&N filter and my truck is a 2002 with a 4.7 V8 with about 15k miles on it. I've tried fuel system cleaners, and checking for misfires or other things that a average joe could check up on. Anyone else have this problem or know what might be wrong?
FYI i have recently changed my driving habits in order to maximize my fuel economy and even tried all freeway driving. Best i could get was 11 mpg or 12 mpg. I drive hard and usually in the city, I never offroad my truck. Any ideas?
