Ok, so im having one of those really dumb moments. i just got a 2002 dakota quad cab which supposedly has a sliding rear window. well, im having one of those moments and cant figure out how to open it. any ideas? Also, are these known to fog up? i dont have a rear defroster - can these be installed? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

Can't figure out how to open it? Reach back, push the latch and slide to the passenger side.

Fogging up ... windows that are straight up and down generally don't fog up much ... unless you plan on breathing directly on them.

How is it that a vertically oriented window will fog up less than a window installed at an angle?

I did not know that condensation (fog) would care about angle.

I have to disagree about the fogging up. Those windows will fog up just as quick as any other window.

Condensation doesn't care about the angle, it just doesn't get trapped under glass that is vertical like it does when the glass is at an angle. Of course if their is alot of moisture in the air it will fog up regardless of the angle, yet the vertical window will not fog up as bad as an angled window like the front..
