just got done emailing Truckin' once they email me back i'll post that to but until then this is what i emailed.
Hey Truckin',
PLEASE HELP THE DAKOTA OWNERS! There's a large number of Dodge Dakota owners that are at their wits end with trying to convince APC & and other companies to make a "Euro" headlight or even a projector headlight for the 1997-2002 Dakota (Gen III). Someone even posted the email address of the owner of APC so that everyone that read the post on www.dodgedakotas.com could email him and let him know that there was a wanting of this type of headlight, and nothing came about.
If this guy or any other company out there thinks that there's not enough Dakotas to make money off of this type of headlight they've got that WRONG! By next Monday I could have close to 1,000 names and email addresses to show just the start of the people that want this type of headlight. So, PLEASE Truckin' HELP US OUT! If anything help us get APC to step up to the plate, and make these headlights. I just wish that a company would grow some balls and be different from the rest. Oh, another thing no I'm not going to buy a S-10 or a Ranger just because they don't make these headlights for the Dakota.

Actually...
I spoke with Brian Horowitz (the president of APC) at SEMA in person, and he remembers our e-mail campaign. He told me that APC would be moving forward with production of some sort of diamond clear headlight for the 1997-2003 Dakota/Durango, but it would take at least 4-6 months to get designed, DOT approval, production, stocking, etc...
In addition, www.360airintakez.com is working on a clear headlight design, but it too is at the initial design phase and will probably be a few months before production is started.
Unfortunately during both e-mail campaigns I was only able to acquire around 150 notices from people willing to spend the time to type a few words in order to drum up support for a product like this. They were all forwarded to APC and we'll see how it goes.
