I've read that the new 6.7L power stroke will be made of a graphite material. Should be on the lightest diesels on the market when it available as an option in the new Super Duty.

Heres a link of the new 2011 Ford Superduty. I got the latest edition of TruckTrend. According to the engine specs. The new P.S 6.7 will produce 390 HP and 735 ftlbs tourqe.

Also avaliable is a new 6.2L V8.

Be interesting how that holds op. Remember the smaller powerjoke from international that Ford said was just so superior to the competition?

And yes it is;P

Well, I test drove a 6.0L P.S years ago (back in '04) and was somewhat impressed. So this new up coming Super Duty should be light years better than the older s. I like the fact the both Ford & Dodge kept solid front axels up front. Its ok for light duty pick-ups but there needs be something strong for both suspension for both front and back.

If you like the 6.0 or the older 7.3 then you should love the newer 6.7 from Ford. But I still recommend the 6.7L Cummins in the Dodge: Proven technology, simply made.

Well if the Dakota is going to be a unibody like the Ridgeline or Durango will be, then you can just drop the talk of a diesel. Unless you want a 3.0 diesel found in the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
