 Subject: Cig lighter

Has anyone tried to switch the position of the cig lighter and power outlet (you can't just switch the lighter's position because the power outlet cover will hang free and look weird)? I ask because I have a manual tranny and when I plug something into the power outlet, the shifter runs into the plug for gears 3&5.

I had the same problem, you know how I fixed it! Hot wire whatever you needed to plug in such as radar detectors, etc. Just find an open spot in your fuse block that will work for you and use it!
