Subject: Got Problems!!! (Again)

Just got Trac-Loc installed at a local (reputable) 4x4 shop and drove it for the first time today. Now keep in mind I've had problems for the last week with my T-case (electronic) trying to shift into 4HI at start up and my Service 4WD light just came on today. So as I was backing out of my parking space at the grocery store this evening, the truck binded to a stop- Just like it would if I tried that maneuver in 4WD. Well, It binded up pretty tight, cause I tried to turn the wheel the opposite way and go forward and it still struggled. So my question is, would the Trac-Loc bind up like that or should I suspect my T-case is stuck in 4WD since I've been having problems with it anyway??? I managed to get the truck home (only a few blocks), but its binded up to the point I can't drive it in turns.

Also... tomorrow morning, is Mr. Dodge Dealer gonna say that the drive-train warranty is void because I had the trac-lock installed????

Well now,
Had the truck 7 months now and had to have it towed to dealer already. With how hard it was to get it a few blocks from the grocery store last night, I wasn't even trying to drive it 12 miles and get it stuck on the highway. This is the second time its been in the shop for driveline related problems (first was Trans-shifter housing leaking like hell). So is this the kind of stuff I get to look forward through out the next 5 and half years of payments???

Turns out there were three chaffed wires going to the transfer case.

"Cavity #5, yellow wire with violet trace, yellow wire with orange trace, and yellow wire with white trace"

I guess these guys were shorting and telling the T-case to go to 4HI all by itself, and the indicator light would still stay at 2WD.
