Im running my gyears at 35psi but when i took em off for the winter, I notice the inside is wearing faster. My psi is not higher than 35 but should i run them lower?

The weight balance is like what 65front/35 rear?

Should i run rears at a lower psi?

Is it possible the tyres are wearing incorrectly due to burnouts?

First of all ... The GY RSAs suck all around in my opinion and I found that the alignment on the front is hard to hold onto.

As for tire pressure....I personally run the front with max psi and the rears I adjust to conditions. Max the psi on the rears for both load capacity and best mpg. Lower the psi on the rears for traction(snow/ice/mud/60' times).

This is the first year I've had anything on the rears other than the RSAs. Got the Ziex plus sized and run them at 50psi on normal conditions and found that during snow etc...I can lower the psi to 20 and achieve excellent traction without having to put extra weight in the back. These tires have a really rugged sidewall and don't even look like they need more air when at 20psi. I am really impressed with them and they are cheaper and longer lasting than the RSAs. I do not pull a lot of lateral G's so that particular performance aspect is not an issue for me.

I run my nittos at 45 psi in the front and 30 in the back. They grip very good. I at one time had 45 psi in the rear, and just spun the tires through an intersection.

What size tires are you running? If you are running the stock 16" then your pressure is suppose to be 30psi front & rear except when loaded the 30 front & 35 rear.

No stock 17's and the inside of the door says run em both at 35...But i figure since the bed is never loaded, a lower psi should be in order.

35 is max of what the tire can handle, run them at 32psi which is perfect.

Tyres? What is this England? jk Are these the front or rear tires? What kind of wear? Is it just reduced tread or is it cupped? Am I asking enough questions and using enough question marks? If it is the rear tires, yes it could be from burnouts. If the front tires are cupped, I would check the suspension, especially the ball joints. If its tread wear on the inside only, I would guess the camber(ex - / or \ while viewing from the front) is off. Or, possibly that they are toed out. If it were from overinflation, they would be worn in the middle.

The camber and joints are good. Its not a suspension issue as the wear is mainly in the center or the tyre (yes england!) Its got to be an inflation issue but i run them at the door jam suggestion 35psi. Im surprised to hear some are running at 50! and as low as 20 (although i understand its for snow traction) Its both front and rear. Im just pissed my tread is wearing so quickly (even if it is from burnouts!)

I also keep the pressure @ 35 and have had no problems. I have 31X10.5 BFG KO's and have shown no unusual wear. Everyone will give you advice to what their favorite tire is, but most will agree that the Goodyears are junk. From what I have read, the best lasting (but most expensive) tires are the Michelin's. I haven't heard one negative comment on them. Oh, and keep the old tires around mounted on some cheap rims, so when you get the urge to make smoke you won't trash the new ones. Can be a great stress reliever.

Actually, the max psi on my Falken Ziex's is 51 and the ride is definitely bearable.

Again...very happy with these on the rear.

Good ride, load handling, tread depth(longevity), traction, and style...absolutely NO complaints and no stock in this company.

I've got a 2000 Dakota 4x4 Ext. Cab, I put 68,000 miles on it and I still have the Good Year RSA's that came stock. 35psi front and rear, no problems. Just now looking to get new tires. 5 years worth of miles on these tires...I'd say that's pretty good...

That sounds pretty damn stupid on DCs part by putting RSAs on a 4X4. Due to my ignorance(maybe)...I'll have to call bs on that one.
