Wow, just came off a 1 hour drive to work that normally takes 15 min. First time I really got to drive the DAK in the snow!! Handled very very nicey. And remember, 4WD is your friend. I passed a number of trucks stuck on the hills of I-376 in Pittsburgh, PA Traffic was absolutetly horrrible, but I sure had fun. A lot different that trying to get the oldsmobile to work in the snow :)

mpil1,

Hey, hey!!! I just got back from a trip into Monroeville from out in the boonies. It was 4-wheeling all the way and I had a ball.

Man-o-man, I love the snow. My wife says that I'm deranged.

Stoney....

Thats where I'm working at, Monroeville. My trip to work usually takes 15 min; was over 1 hour today. Pittsburghers really need to learn how to drive in the snow (although it was a little worse than it normally gets here this morning). Yea, although it was slow, it was fun!! But I'll take my warm weather anytime!!!

mddak,
Unless you did something fancy to your truck, you don't have a LSD in the front of your Dak. If you have LSD in the rear, you only have 3 "sure-driving" wheels; that front passenger-side wheel is still open. Once I finally get a chance to get back out to the 4x4 shop, I'm gonna have trac-loc put in the rear. With 4x4, thats more traction than I'll ever need, I'm sure.
