3 suggestions:

Get the 5-speed
Get 3.92 gears
Get the part-time transfer case.

I love my '02.

The 5 speed and 3.92 gears will give you great acceleration and towing ability ...if that's what you need. The automatic vs 5 speed is really a matter of which you prefer to drive. The 3.55 gears will lower yor RPM's on the highway a bit giving you a slightly quieter engine and slightly better gas milage. Get the 4.7L V8.In my opinion the V6 is under-powered and the 5.9 too thirsty.
Get the LSD and yes, get part-tme 4wd. Again this is just my opinion.
I've got a 2001QC,4wd,4.7L,3.55 gears and I'm adding a Powertrax No-Slip locker as we speak. No complaints with respect to my Dodge. Enjoy yours.

I am partial to the 5.9/4speed but that is personal preferance...just dont get the V6. My 03 Quad is fully loaded and I love the leather. Infinity stereo isn't a must have but sounds nice.
GET HD Service group!!!
tire & handling group(SLT+ comes standard)
the large side mirrors also are a must have
thats the only "necessary" items I can think of.

oh yea...bucket seats :)
