-a Dakota that's been wrecked, but not neccessarily totalled, in order to work on it, like drop in a new engine, replace neccessary parts, etc...
Where's the best place to go to look for one, junkyard, chopshop...? I got a friend who got ahold of a Mk.I Supra that way.
This is my plan:
When I have enough saved up, I want to get ahold of said truck, order a 408 Stroker kit, replace anything that needs to be replaced within the chassis and drivetrain, buy ALL neccessary parts, put it all together, re-do the interior and then have the exterior repainted.
Why would I do this? Just as a part-time hobby with the help of friends. Why a Dakota? Cause I love this truck, and I don't see many of em around my town being used for the track. I understand this will cost A LOT...
