Just a few things I thought everyone might be interested in. Kinda goes along with other postings. I have posted questions before about the difference in height between my truck and my buddy VIPER's. Same trucks but his sits about an inch and 3/4 higher. After much searching with Dodge, this is normal. They have a 2 in. tolerance range. It stinks but that is what they said. If they have a 2in. tolerance on the springs it makes me wonder about what they have for other things. Of other interest, after looking through my new Mopar Performance catalogue, I wanted to try the mopar performance exhaust for my wife's Durango. My dealer has it in stock,,, for $461.00 tax included. I told them they were smking bad crack, I can get a custom Flowmaster or Gibson setup for HALF that. Then I wanted to get the mopar ventvisors for my windows, was told over the phone $60. When I get there they say oh, that is a 30 day price ( in other words if I had my truck for 30 days or less). When I said I had my truck for a couple of months, they said it would be $85. Wish they had said that on the phone! I can get ventvisor brand at Pep Boys for $60. Also they still want $280 for my fender flares. These things are so annoying. With all that said, I still love my truck!!!!!!

You can get discounts on Mopar parts from many places - if you go to a parts counter, and see them pull out a calculator, they are adding their own commision to the already inflated price - walk away. For your wife's Durango, visit www.durangoclub.com. Thye have some pretty good Corporate Sponsors who give good deals on parts.

I have a Gibson cat-back on my Durango, and it's a good system - great performance, and not too loud.
