I have a 2000 4.7 liter 4x4 Auto. Mud got to my electic fan and ruined it.(its not just the fuse blown, its the whole fan) I want to replace it Dodge wants over $350.00 for a new fan. Anyone kno where I can get a replacement aftermarket or OEM for less... and which one should I go with if I just order it from Summit or something? Thank you- Ray Moody

Check E-bay... these are on there all the time for $90 or so. Search "Dakota Fan"

I couldn't find an aftermarket electric fan that would cool my engine in the summer while towing my boat until I put a fan on from a '95 Mustang. It works great but requires better wiring and relays than normally found in a parts store. I had to get stuff from an audio store to use on mine. Cheaper stuff and smaller wires just melted.
