Subject: Moving the spare tire?

Any way to move the spare tire about 1" to the right? Got a catback that's pressing up against the tire. I crawled under there for about 2 minutes and tried to look through the wheel to see if I could loosen some bolts and slide it over, but couldn't really see.
By the way.. 01 QC 2WD if it makes any difference.

It's held by a cable that's cinched up. Just loosen it and move it and cinch it back up. I'll bet you can't move it too much since it needs to be somewhat centered. They should have mandrel bent your cat back so it wouldn't do that. Any reputable muffler shop would do that and stand behind their work. When I bought my Borla cat back system, as expensive as that thing was, the muffler shop still had to do a little cutting and bending here and there to make it fit exactly with no stress all the way through. Same thing with the headers and new y-pipe. The guy told me that's the worse thing you can do is to mount something like that where there's constant stress because that's the first place that's going to break or rub through or worse yet, rub through a part on your Dak that's not part of the exhaust system.

I'll see what I can do with the cable. I was hoping I could actually move that assembly a bit. I'm taking the truck back to 4Wheelparts today to have the leak fixed. I'll ask them what they can do to get the pipe off the tire.

Thanks Ron.
James.
