I returned home from a long road trip this evening with no problems. :) The AC was not used.
I went out about an hour later to take my Dak down to where I work to clean it up. When I started it, I could hear the AC compressor running and shutting off continually as if the AC was on.....but it wasn't.
After I cleaned the truck and started it again, it began to do the same thing. So I turned on the AC but it continued to do the same thing. I shut the AC off and it stopped doing it.
I haven't started it again but I was wondering if this is normal. I usually consider myself an observant person, but I haven't noticed this before. It's only a month and a half old with 2000kms.

OK, I should have searched the archives first because I could have answered my question.
I'll have to check out where I put the selector knob to get it to stop running.
It would be nice to be able to manually shut it off like I can in my wife's Accord though.
