I need to get a set of winter tires for the upcoming winter...since my 4.7 chewed through my stock tires already... :0)
I currently have the P255/65 R15s...an impossible size to find in the after-market...so I've come to realize...
if I went a narrower tire, would I be able to keep the same 'overall size' as my stock ones, so I wouldn't have to adjust anything...?

Example: i have 255/65 R15...could I go a 235/75 R15 and keep the same overall circumfrance?
would a 235 fit on my rims?

Please help...snow starts to fly in a couple of weeks..!!!

I put a set of Bridgestone Winter Duelers on my Quad last year and loved them.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Winter+Dueler+DM-Z2&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=375R5DMZ2

I got them on Tirerack.com with rims. They arrived a few days later mounted, balanced, and ready to put on the truck. Now I can keep my aluminum rims clean and free of road salt during the winter.

I agree on the Winter Dueler's. Absolutely awesome snow tires. I had always run studded tires before I got those and the Duelers were just as good.

CW- they didn't throw your speedo off or anything?

I'll try and find a set of those Bridgestones here in Windsor and find a good price for them.

Thanks for the input guys.
