have a 2001 dakota engine light came on so i checked the code it is 1494 ldp leak detection pump. reset computer light came on in about 5 days so i figured i have a slow leak somewhere! took to dealer they said nothing wrong with the ldp it was i needed to flash computer with new software since the truck is off warrenty i would have to pay! well had the pcm flashed and the light came on again same code!! no point in goin back to the dealer because they must think im rich lol. was wondering has any1 had this code? and what was the repair? thanks!!
