Well i havent been on the board for months, im down under right now. havent seen a single Dakota. I miss mine quite a bit, the 4.7 is just sitting in a garage. Plenty of hot V8s here though. Holden, a company that makes utes and sedans with the LS1's are big here. Plenty of Nissan Skylines and Silvias. I like them. But the sad part is the absence of Dodge here. Right now i am driving a 77 Corolla with a 1130cc engine. Its pathetic. I hope to hear from you guys, I will try and spend some more time in the page. LAter from down under

So your driving a lawnmower with a roof? lol. I've always wanted to visit Australia. How's the weather, women and beer? If they are Ok it might be liveable without any Dodge vehicles:) Say hi to Nick Dundee and the Crocodile Hunter for me if you see'em:) Bet you cant wait to get back to the Dak.

Hey Crusty, I was just wondering where you had been the other day. You're right, it has been a while since you have been on the boards. How long you going to be down under? Have a good one.

I am here for three months, returning on Dec 35d. Then I will be back on the boards. The lawnmower is funny, it has one broken window, no weatherstripping, and is very loud on the highway. I miss the Dak like no other. Beer here is veru good and very plentiful. Went out the other night,$1 beers. And thats about 55cents US. The women are unbelievable. Everything about this place makes living without the dak alright. Wonder how much it would cost to ship it here and move here permanantly? Just a thought. Well it was good to hear from some of you. Dropoff- Hows your truck doing now that youre back form the sandbox? Anyways

Hey dr0p0ff-- Nice seats... I got the TRS from Corbeau-- did your brackets fit okay??? I got mine in about 2 months ago-- the bracket's were way off-- and they had to redesign them.

I want to do a box like yours-- With the Corbeaus my boxes had to come out-- no room in the RC's as you very well know.

Thanks!

Sounds like you're having a ball over there. I've always wanted to check out Australia, by your description it must be an awesome trip.

Sam the brackets were a little off. i had to drill them out for the bracket to seat mount.. then to get them in the truck you have to tilt the seat and bracket forward.. but in the front two bolts and crank them down.. then push down the seats and do the rear two. it was a pain to say the least
