Ok, i'm wanting to return this package of the billet fuel door i got online for $100 bucks...that's right, a $100. And i want to return it and get a refund, the package has never been open and has been sitting besides my comp since monday when it came in. Partly the reason is because i got involved in a automobile accident with my truck and i need the money and also partly because i paid higher than i thought. I thought retail on these was $150 and up but apparently i was wrong. I bought these from a guy on ebay, any ideas anyone???

If it is the AMP fuel door, u got an OK deal. If it is the Mopar fuel door, sorry to say but you paid almost 2x more than I did for mine a few days ago at the dealer. Check the return policy with the ebay seller, maybe they will take it back. Otherwise, I would just keep it if you are planning on still having a Dak. You'll take a beating if you try to sell it, even if it is still in the box. Sorry bout your Dak.

Ok, i still haven't opened the package, but i'm gonna anyway, so hold on..........still tryin to figure out open this box inside the box, it says Mopar parts on the box so................ARGGG, yep, it's Mopar.....

I would be extremely surprised if the guy refunded your money. You entered into a legal transaction via E-Bay. He offered a product, you bid what you felt the product was worth, you won the bid, you paid the money, he delivered the product. At this point he doesn't even have to respond to your e-mails, much less refund a single penny.
Sorry you paid more than you needed to, but people who are selling stuff on E-Bay are trying to make money after all, there's nothing posted that says E-Bay sellers must sell stuff below cost, or reveal what their cost was before marking it up.
You could try to re-sell the door, but most of the people on the various Dakota boards are now aware of its normal retail price. Even the AMP Research doors sell for only $90 on E-Bay, not sure if you could re-sell there and recover all your costs.
The best advice I can give is to shrug this whole episode off, install the door once your truck is fixed, and enjoy the new mod. You paid a few extra bucks to become one of the first guys on the block to have the new Mopar door, and now everyone has learned from your experience. I too have inadvertently paid a few extra bucks for something that caught my eye ($21 with shipping for a car duster whose sleeve says DODGE, found out afterwards I could buy a generic one locally for $7). If all else fails think about all the people who haven't benefitted from forums like this one and still continue to pay full retail plus outrageous markup at local speed shops and grin at how much money you saved.
