In snow on streets I have found that the BFG A/T is an excellent choice... Made my 2wd very capable so I can only imagine how good a 4wd could be...

I really like the Goodyear RT/S that I have on my 2001 CC 3.9 4x4. I have been in some VERY hairy situations pulling a snowmobile trailer with 3 sleds on there and haven't had any problems. The AT/S is also a good tire, wears a little quicker than the RT/S. The RT/S handles really well on the street as well, good mix of ride and ability.

I had good luck with some firestone winterfire's that I bought for a car that I had at the time worked great in the snow.

Well, it depends on the type of snow and what's underneath it. A narrower tire will dig faster and hit the pavement, a wider one might get more traction from the snow but slide a bit more easily. My 2wd has 235s on it and I can't complain. Very good. I have read wonderful things about I believe the Bridgestone(sure of that) Dueller snow tire. Several magazines loved it. Can't beat studs though. My grandma had them on her 82 caddy and that thing was nearly unstoppable in road snow conditions.

You can however for the most part compensate for a little worse tire with shear skill in driving also. I have takin' my peg leg out in winter and seen many a 4x4 on the side of the road.

head/taillight covers, ventshades side and rear, ram air on the way. Autolite 3923s, 180 T-Stat
