Has anyone ever had to fix their in-cab 4x4 light on the floor shifted handle? I noticed this weekend my light did not come on so I pulled console off and replaced the small bulb which had not burned out. I think the metal plate is pinching the power wire but I don't know if that would cause the light not to work.
BTW, I had to stick my head out the window and spin the tires to see if it had engaged. It fortunately was working b/c I was in some very soft sand and there was nothing but Range Rovers and S-10s around to pull me out if I got stuck. That would have been very embarassing.
