I have a 91 dakota, with the 318, not a magnum engine. The idle speed goes up and down and sometimes won't go down, especially when i drive her hard. Sometimes she will ilde at 2000rmp and won't go down unless you pump the pedal for a while. I'm not sure if it is the idle speed actuator motor, or just a sensor or the computer sending it funny signals. The motors worth about 100 bucks, so i want to make sure thats what wrong with it. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to test the idle speed motor?
