what up guys..
i got a quick question for all the dak owners, i opened up my hood the other day to replace my crappy stock battery that just died, and i noticed that on the fuse box (if i remember correctly) there was a yellow sticker (prolly 1.5"x 2.5") that said something to the effect of "this vehicle contains and electronic remote starting mechanism, disable before service" that may not be verbatium what it said, but it was close to that.
when i bought my truck i wasnt told that it has an aftermarket remote start, and it cant be factory because the damn thing dont even have power windows, or locks. and why would anyone get remote start w/ no power locks or windows. so i looked around to try to see if it was some kinda generic "dodge" sticker that they just put to mess w/ mechanics or if i really do have remote start and i dont know about it.
so i guess my question is, does anyone else have this sticker and know what it means, or does anyone know what i should look for to see if i by chance have a remote start? like is there a cpu for it somewhere?????
if by chance i do have it installed already, does anyone have any idea how to go about getting a new remote for it???

if you get a remote stater installed from a dealer I know they will put the sticker on, mine did on all three of our vehicles. liability thing. You could go to z-bart or somewhere and have them check it out if you don't know what your looking for. Don't know if it's still there or not but z-bart will remove mine and reinstall it in my new vehicle whenever I buy one, so I imagine that they probably removed it and left the sticker!

no idea what one would look like though huh? im kinda in the sticks, we dont have a z-bart or anything around here.
