Subject: Stock tire size-15x8 wheel?? HELP!
IP: Logged

Message:
I bought a set of 15x8 wheels for my 2002 2WD for snow tires. What was the stock size tire that came with 15x8 wheels for a 2WD truck?? I think these wheels were the optional wheels for 2000 or 2001 trucks--thanks!!!

Used on a 2000 2wd dakota, mine came with a 255/65/15. It is the same height as a 275/60/15... There are also online tire size calculators where you can find something that is the correct OD to match the 255/65/16's on your truck now.

235/75/15, that is BFG A/t tire sizing. Great winter tire.

I've never seen a 235 come stock on the 8" wheel. I was thinking more along the lines of a 255/65-15, like Chris said. The 235's came on 4x4's with the 7" wheel, and 31's were on the 8" wheel.
