Hi Anthony...

You also checked out http://www.dakotart.com ??

On the Powerdyne, ScottQ (RT List) is selling his custom 7-Rib pullies which not only give you a little bit more boost, the belt slippage problem is reduced since you now can run the factory 7-rib belt again.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks Guys!! I will hopefully be able to post some better times friday night.

Bernd.... I tried one of scotts pulley's.... the 2.45". Made 10lbs one time, then the belt started slipping. I couldnt understand why, went to the gatorback belt, that belt was worse than all the others, got the new pulley from powerdyne to increase belt wrap. It just kept slipping, so i wanted to know why. I took it off and went back to the stock setup. I took the stock pulley and the 7 rib to a machine shop....held the gatorback and the gates 7-rib to the 2.45, the ribs on the belt dont even fall into the grooves on the pulley....that was where my slip was coming from. The angle of the v's on the pulley were no where near stock dimensions, and they weren't deep enough even if the belt did fall into the grooves, they would bottom out. I have no problems with scott or the pulley, scott is a cool guy, and with custom stuff like this, there can be mistakes. I am having the guy at the machine shop make me a new one, and larger, that pulley was just too small, and would have made too much boost to be practical. The one i am having him make is 2.75" a little smaller than powerdynes 9# so i am hoping to make a consistent 8-9psi of boost.

As for now, im back to good ole 4.5lbs, and the truck runs like a violated moose. I am on egroups, been there for about 2 years, but dont post much. Sorry its so long. Take it easy guys!
