put it towards an intake....you'll really like it with your exhaust. or perhaps towards a v-8 TB. i dont know much about the 3.9, but somebody will probably chime in.

now that i think about it....look around for a post by "lesley." she has a really sweet v-6 set up...you could follow some of what she has done.

just a thought

$100 dollars wont get much, do a search on e-bay for different parts. You could possibly get a billet fuel door or grille-inserts if you dont have them already. Just a few ideas for ya.

i didnt mean to sound like you could get a lot for 100 bucks, but it is definitely a nice little chunk to help you get something for your rig. are you shooting for appearance or performance mods first? when i got started i was all about performance but i just kept on buying appearance things. i suppose i had to like the look before i made it go.....

Yea, that's what i did, i really need performance mods cause i really don't have any except the Ravin' muffler. But, there isn't really anyone to race around here so i kept adding appearance. Take a look at my truck on my site and see what you think i need.

i gotta go with getting the intake still....based on all i have read on this site you have to get the air in and out better....they are complimentary mods. after that im not sure what to get....a lot of people have put some sort of v-8 throttle body on there, as well as ignition upgrades....i better let a fellow v-6er help you out. im basing what i say on just what i have seen

I'd go crazy if I cared!

Shop around for a good deal on some highflow FMS Injectors. I got mine for 100. Been very pleased! Also, you can get a good set of Procomp shocks for about that much. HMMMM.... lets see... how about a set of Zaino wax products? Uh, also you could get a set of fog lights if you dont have them already. How much are a pair of Wet Okle seat covers? I got a whole lot more ideas..

Lol, man, well, let's see, i have been looking for fog lights, so i would say that's a definite possibility. The wet okole covers i envy so much, yet, it's expensive. I will probably only get that for like x-mas if i can convince my parents to get it.

I'd say keep saving for rims and tires. Then fender flares, and if 2 wd, lower it - if 4wd, raise it. Then get a tonneau, and then custom paint job.

OK, obviously I'm kidding. So many things we all want to do BUT...

I agree with the air intake. Look into shift kits if you have an auto. You can get those for about $100

A shift kit goes in the trans and changes the line pressure. Basicly makes for a firmer shift and supposidly a longer lasting transmission due to less friction since it shifts faster.

Look into a second hand V-8 TB through Car-Part.Com
I found mine there for less than $55.00 shipped to the house, Cleaned her up and swapped my factory sensors in. I would have to say that this is the best mod i've done yet.
Food for thought man

Hey, thanks for the compliments on my truck you guys.
I'm a real bargain shopper, so I check ebay really frequently. V8 TBs are going for a lot on there lately now that everyone realizes what a great mod they are for the buck. I got mine from someone on moparchat. I belong to 3 dodge sites (moparchat.com, dodgetrucks.org and this one) so I am always reading posts of stuff for sale. I got my TB for $70 from moparchat, my Borla intercooled tip for $50 from someone on here.
Another great mod is an air intake. I paid $150 for my stainless steel Quick D, but you could make one yourself so easily. You could either go the 3" PVC piping and Fermco elbow route (all available at Home Depot) for around $15, then buy a K&N filter for under $50. So simple! Or, you could get a length of stainless or chrome 3" pipe from a muffler shop, and connect it with either a bent elbow, or a rubber connector if you get the metal piping mandrel bent.
I shopped around for my headers, and saved $200 by buying a used set of JBA stainless headers off ebay. I bought my Rancho shocks, brand new, never used, for $20. Saved about $50 off my Borla muffler. Usually what I do is do a search on ebay, then bookmark the page. Then I can check it regularly (example, right now I have a page bookmarked "mopar 360" for all my new motor parts) until something I want shows up in my price range.
A couple of cheap or free mods are: removing the decals and factory badging. Making your own custom grill. Getting more air into your engine bay by removing the rubber flap beside the radiator. Just keep reading posts and asking advice before you spend any money. Good luck!

97 3.9 CC Sport. JBA stainless headers, Borla Turbo XL stainless muffler & tip, 17 x10 Boyd Coddington Smoothies, FMS injectors, V8 TB, Quick D stainless air intake, Have but not Installed yet: 5.9 litre 360
