Man, that is some NASTY deer busting. Hope whoever was in that car is OK. I called my 19 year old daughter in to look at those pictures, so she could take deer accidents seriously. She often drives home in the evening, and we have tons of deer around here. Thanks for posting those links, Kota.

A deer jumped partially into my friend's passenger window once. That right there is the reason I have never hit my speed limiter.

That's nothing compared to a moose or elk though. If you hit one of those you better be lucky to even walk away.

PHOTO ANALYSIS CUZ I'M BORED:)

I am thinkin PhotoShop here. Amazing there is no front end damage at all and just a little in the center of the hood but it looks like the roof took an impact from at least one other deer or fixed object to cause that damage(Must have been Santa's reindeer trying to keep under the radar to all be 4 feet off the ground). You'll notice the steering wheel is bent over badly so the Durango deaccelerated in a big hurry and the roof is pushed down almost to the steering wheel so the driver either ate the roof, steering wheel or deers antlers(if real) that are in the driver seat. But then again there is no blood in the photo that is visible on any of the light colored items(ie: ceiling and deer) so it is possible the driver walked away unharmed. I believe that at least the deers antler was photoshopped in to the photo since if you look at the size of the entry hole through windshield which is barely the size of dear's abdomen, you will realize that the antlers would have been broken off clean or made the entry hole much larger.

SCENARIO ANALYISIS:)

Having a lifted vehicle is much safer for you and the wildlife. I have had near-missses with small wildlife where just lined myself up and passed over the top of them(a couple stood up and got clunked in the noggin:) instead of swerving into a tree or causing an accident. Large animals like deer and dogs are different, but at least they shouldn't end up in the windshield and possibly kill you our cause to you to lose control and get in an accident. Had the Durango in this photo been slammed to the max, the deer may have only left some hoof marks on the roof as it flew over heading back to Santas Workshop, lol.

Just a couple months ago a deer jumped out in front of a friend in an SUV. He dared not swirve and just ploughed it down.

Antlers sometimes kill people when the go through the windshield.

There's more pictures and info available on other websites, he only posted a couple of them.

The deer was walking across a bridge when a vehicle drove by and scared it, causing it to jump over the edge and land on top of the Durango which was driving on the interstate below.

To see the other pics just change the number in front of the .jpg from a "3" to a 2 or 4 or 5.

I saw 3 of the photos on moparchat, not the one with
blood and gore though. Don't think I'll go there, the
bloodless photos were scary enough.
Were any of you guys on this site last year when
someone posted the links to the Ferarri crash? Those
were the worst crash pics I've ever seen, I was so
grossed out my hand was frozen and wouldn't move the
mouse so I could get the heck out of the site. Ew!

On a lighter note one of the funniest vids I've ever seen is of an old Datsun Z I think. He's doing dough-nuts at a drag strip and all of the sudden the motor blows and actually blows the hood and one quarter panel off. Really funny.

Its a shame that deer die buy a truck and not by my riffle. I see more deer on my way home from work everynight then i see in treestands the whole hunting season.

I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks, so I wondered what do Chinese mothers use? Toothpicks?

Haha, watchout in Montan tinybaum, our fish and game (ever notice that acronym?) have some mechanical deers here. People are always getting caught dropping deers from the seat of their truck.
