I can't tell if the badge on the fender is a V6 or V8 badge though ... Nice Truck!

I'll believe it when I see under the hood...

Just the statemnt he made makes me wonder:
"Pic of the Month

George's truck truly fits the monster theme. His Twin Turbo Dodge Dakota he tells me is the only one in the country, and yes, it's quite a beast!"

It's not the only one in the country!!!!

Later!

I think this is that guy who posted here a long time ago about Bruce Kelly at SciTech in Florida building him a twin-turbo 4.7 truck. I remember it was AmberFire.

He got into an arguement w/ Duner & me about some stuff (mainly that he was going to be able to run 10's on his first pass down the track) and then he disappeared.

But this graphics company is out of Florida, his truck is Amberfire and it is allegedly twin-turbo'd. Quite a few coincidences.

Bruce Kelly is the guy who built Nick Kramer's twin-turbo V-6 Dakota that ran 11's before he wrapped it around a tree. So maybe this actually IS the only twin-turbo 4.7 Dakota in the country.

But I still need to see time slips, photos, and videos (or else witness a few runs in person) before I'll be impressed......

Til then, it's just a NOPI-Nationals trailer queen

I think that the truck needs some more work before it can be in the fast 2. How about some new rims to start.

Yeah .. rims are an easy swap though. It looks like a F&TF truck already though with all the decals ... I wonder, if it is true that it'll be in the movie, I wonder if they will do a twin turbo'd dakota justice (even if it is a fake).

I'd like to see more info on this guy though.

I agree that the wheels would need to be changed for filming, but what I really like is the color matched breakdrums. Just says to me stopping power. If I did infact have a twin turbo anything I think I would be gunning for discs at every corner.
I do in fact think it would be cool if he did have a twin turbo dak. I have anamousity though because this guy would stoop to the fast and the furious level. He better be getting some serious cash.

I remember that guy Alex is talking about. Everyone called bull sh!t on him and he never came back. There are some odd coincidences here.

Coincidence?

Another coincidence is that we still haven't seen any pics of the engine or twin turbos. If I had twin turbos on a 4.7 I would certainly want people to see it!

Anyone see the exhaust? You can see it under the rocker panel on the top pic of the three.

Well, the worst part of it is that he was allegedly going to bring it to the NOPI Nationals here in Atlanta which was last weekend. But it rained the whole damn weekend, so I didnt' go out to look for him. I was damn sure gonna take some pics and come back here to "release the goods."

Too bad I was just lazy. But it is a good thing I didnt' go after all. Turns out that during the course of the event, this girl "got sick" and headed off from the crowd to find a bathroom. She never came back. Two nasty ol' backwoods hillbilly pig-f*ckers were arrested after the authorities found her body (strangulation) in the woods behind Atlanta Motor Speedway (the location of the event). Still waiting to hear a motive for the crime. One of the bastards was a food vendor at the track. Just glad I dint go.

I went to NOPI in Atlanta and it DEFINATELY didn't rain. It was gorgeous the first day once we got through Atlanta and just overcast the next. But that truck wasn't there--i don't think. I searched just about the whole place for Dakotas and about the coolest one was bagged in a streetglow--or something like that--display. I really think that one would have jumped out at me. But if it was there--DAMM I WISH I COULD HAVE CHECKED IT OUT!!!!
