it is not my "call sign" moron it is my station license and the FCC does not publish those anywhere on the internet. you can get them through freedom of info act, but you must have a legal reason for them. Mine is a lifetime license and does not need to be "renewed" only CB used to be, and some other low power such as FRS/GMS needs to be renewed.

you have no idea of what you speak!
a private license can be used for commercial or non commercial broadcasting for public reception on AM or FM using up to 5,000 watts and a commercial license is required for stations broadcasting from 5,000 to 50,000 watts on AM or FM. These licenses are required of station engineers and the Disk jockey or host of any commercial or pivately held radio broadcast in the AM or FM bands for public consumtion.

actually, the FCC calls it a callsign.
the license is the piece of paper with your name and callsign printed on it, or the digital record of same.
and the FCC does indeed publish all radio licenses and callsigns on the internet in one specific place. the FCC database is viewable and searchable by the public.
except that W8TCX is not a current callsign. the FCC database is complete (not partial), and that callsign is not in the database. it is of amateur radio callsign format though, might not be an active callsign, might have never been an active callsign. yes, ham radio licenses expire every 10 years and must be renewed.

go check out the FCC site, its quite informative.
