 Subject: rain,curve,slide,curb,ditch,dak

3 words for myself, dumb,dumb,dumb..
Took a curve a little hard yesterday, slid, ABS did not kick in, hit a curb, onto grass, slid some more, into a ditch. Had to pay to get winched out. Surprisingly the old dak held up fairly well, slight indention in plastic part of bumper, one fog a little off. But now when I ride a curve towards left, its like my front tire is rubbing, with no evidence of excessive wear on tire. What else could this be? Dak rides straight, no shimmy, it just feels like its rubbing on something, but nothing is touching tire, any ideas??

Aw man, that's exactly what happened to me last January. Except there was a fire hydrant and a brick wall behind it, luckily i only hit the fire hydrant AND NO, the water did not shoot out, lol. Wasn't goin that fast!!! Anyways, my brakes did lock up while turning and couldn't do anything....it sucked. About 1400 dollars of damage.

This is why I drive like a grandma when it rains. The back end of my truck comes out way to easily.

Better take it to an alignment shop and get it checked. Did the same years ago and bent the crossmember.
Gibson Dual Sport, AirForce One air intake, Jet II, IAT, TPS, when are we gonna see some real parts??!!

My pocket book is scared to take it in, I'm thinkin its gonna be pricey. I'm gonna jack it up tonight and take a look at what I did. Crappy thing is theres not too many 2001's out there to scavenge from, so new part land here I come.
